Is the Mercedes-Benz E-Class the Right Luxury Car for Me?

When you are shopping for a luxury vehicle, you want to make sure it offers you what you want, and need, on the roads of Sioux Falls. This can come in the form of features, capabilities, interior space, or anything in-between.

One of the vehicles many of our drivers trust, when it comes to these factors, is the Mercedes-Benz E-Class. Not only is this a gorgeous vehicle, it offers an incredible experience behind the wheel.

So how do you know if this is the vehicle for you? How does it compare to its competitors on the road?

2017 Mercedes-Benz E-Class vs. 2017 Acura TLX

There are a few important differences between these vehicles that directly relate to your overall experience on the road.

  • Power: The Mercedes-Benz E-Class offers a powerful engine, with 329 horsepower. In comparison, the Acura TLX offers up to 206 horsepower -- this is a sizeable difference in power, and you will notice discrepancy on the road.
  • Features: The Mercedes-Benz E-Class also offers a few interior elements that are important to ensuring a quality experience on the road. This includes standard leather seats, which are not available in the Acura TLX, standard power windows, which are also not available in the TLX, along with optional premium wheels -- these are also not available with the Acura TLX.
  • Fuel Efficiency: The Mercedes-Benz E-Class offers you comparable levels of fuel efficiency when compared to the Acura TLX (30 highway mpg vs 35 highway mpg, respectively).
  • Space: In the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, you will get more front head room, front shoulder room, rear head room, rear shoulder room, and rear leg room. All of these areas of interior space help augment your comfort, and your ability to stretch out in your vehicle. With the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, you get more room to spread out.
  • Warranty: The Mercedes-Benz E-Class provides you with a basic warranty, and a drivetrain warranty,  that covers four years, or 50,000 miles. The Acura TLX also offers a four year or 50,000 mile warranty, and a drivetrain warranty for six years, or 70,000 miles.

Clearly both luxury vehicles have their strengths and specific areas which may impact your driving experience. You will notice their presence, or lack thereof, when you are on the road.
