Design Refinements
- First-ever split headlight design on a BMW; the two LED units mounted high on the front end serve as daytime driving lights, with the main headlight “hidden” below
- Newly designed kidney grille with cascade lighting, bi-color look and chrome elements; optional on X7 xDrive40i and standard on the X7 M60i
- Distinctive satin aluminum large inlays border the lower air intake on either side to accentuate the vehicle’s road presence
- Three-dimensional lights on the rear end with an elegant glass cover enclosing the slim chrome bar connecting the two light units
- Fourteen exterior color options include the new Sparkling Copper Grey metallic variant, M Marina Bay Blue metallic available exclusively for the X7 M60i as well as BMW Individual finishes - Ametrin metallic, Dravit Grey metallic, Tanzanite Blue II metallic and Frozen Pure Grey metallic
- Approximately 40 BMW Individual colors are available, including Daytona Violet and Ruby Red as well as non-metallic or matte finishes
- Optional 23-inch light-alloy wheels; first-of-its-kind Digital Tire Diagnosis technology as standard which notifies drivers via the My BMW App

- New optional M Sport Package featuring front apron with a large lower air intake and high-gloss black trim on the outer edges of the air curtains, double-spoke bi-color 21-inch M light-alloy wheels, inlay in Dark Shadow and trapezoidal exhaust tailpipe finishers on the rear end
- M-specific interior features include illuminated door sill plates, M leather steering wheel, fine wood interior trim strips in Fineline Stripe high-gloss brown, Anthracite M headliner, stainless-steel M pedals, M driver’s dead pedal and model-specific floor mats
- X7 M60i is outfitted with large air intakes and exclusive design elements including an M logo on a black background adorning the standard illuminated kidney grille with matte black bars and high-gloss surfaces as well as aerodynamically optimized M exterior mirrors
- Exterior also features standard M Double-spoke bi-color 22-inch light-alloy wheels and twin tailpipe finishers on the exhaust system
- Interior is highlighted by illuminated door sill plates with “M60i” lettering, M leather steering wheel with stitching in the BMW M colors, interior trim strips in Fineline wood with high-gloss metal effect, M-specific ambient lighting bar and M headliner in Anthracite Alcantara. Interior trim in Carbon Fiber is optional.

- X7 xDrive40i features extended Shadowline Trim including a matte black surround for the kidney grille and tailpipe finishers in Black Chrome, M Sport brakes with black or blue brake calipers bearing the M logo, M Sport exhaust system and Illuminated kidney grille
- X7 M60i consists of brake calipers in either black or blue and Extended Shadowline Trim

State-of-the-Art Performance
- Debut of 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo inline 6-cylinder engine in the X7 xDrive40i featuring innovations in the combustion process, gas exchange, valve control, injection and ignition system. 375 hp represents an increase of 40 versus its predecessor.
- X7 M60i xDrive is equipped with a 523 hp 4.4-liter M TwinPower Turbo V8 which connects with the 48V mild hybrid system to leverage the thermodynamic benefits of a cross-bank exhaust manifold, bank-symmetrical turbochargers and external engine oil cooling
Innovative Technology
- Fully digital BMW Curved Display with intuitive touch control featuring a 12.3-inch information display behind the steering wheel and 14.9-inch Central Control Display. The BMW Curved Display is angled ergonomically towards the driver, however the front passenger can also view the screen content and operate the system using the iDrive controller, touchscreen, voice control or gesture control.
