BMW iX self-healing kidney grille
With a polyurethane coating on the grille it reduces the kidney grilles susceptibility to damage. The self-healing effect of the surface can repair minor scratches and nicks. These scratches and nicks can be healed within 24 hours at room temperature or within ten-minute supply of warm air.
