"It takes a village to raise a child". This proverb explains that an entire community of people help and interact positively with children for those children to experience and grow in a safe and healthy environment. We believe that is true.
We are grateful in all seasons that we have a great community that cares for our little ones. When families find themselves spending the holiday season at the hospital, it can be a difficult time, especially for the child.
Providing parents the opportunity to "shop" for a toy from Sanford's Child Life toy shop gives them the ability to bring joy into this time.
We want to thank all the people who helped us gather a sleigh full of toys. This is the true spirit of the holiday season, and we know that these children feel the love and support that our Sioux Falls community is known for.
